Activities

Training Materials

Center for Adolescent Health faculty, staff, and students conduct trainings with community partners. The materials developed for those trainings may be useful to a broader audience.

  • Training associated with The Teen Years Explained: A Guide to Adolescent Development is currently in the curriculum development stage. The Teen Years Explained Curriculum Development Project is funded by T. Rowe Price. If you are interested in training pertaining to the Guide, contact Beth Marshall at bmarshal@jhsph.edu.

Technical Assistance

The Center for Adolescent Health's technical assistance activities involve partnerships with organizations whose missions and services ally with the Center's around fostering healthy adult lifestyles. The Center refers, brokers, sponsors and/or conducts community training to individual organizations, professional associations and other groups.

Selected topics have been customized and presented in small workshops or presentations to conferences and groups in the areas of:

  • Facilitative leadership for youth
  • Healthy adolescent development
  • Program evaluation
  • Youth and adult partnership
  • Youth engagement
