The Center for Adolescent Health is one of 33 Prevention Research Centers funded by the National Center for Chronic Disease Prevention and Health Promotion, a unit of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). The Prevention Research Centers are a national network of academic, public health and community partners linking science and practice to develop health solutions for disadvantaged communities. CDC funding provides support for our CORE research project (Project HOPE), community outreach, community-initiated evaluation projects, community-based educational activities and student training.
