There are several scholarships available through the Bloomberg School. The following are examples of schoolwide scholarships.
Named in honor of Dean Emeritus Alfred Sommer, the Hopkins Sommer Scholars Program is developing the next generation of public health leaders. The Bloomberg School selects up to ten Master of Public Health candidates to be Sommer Scholars every year.
The C. Sylvia and Eddie C. Brown Community Health Scholarship trains student leaders committed to eliminating health disparities in Baltimore. Each year, the Bloomberg School selects three doctoral students for this award.
Johnson & Johnson Scholars
The Johnson & Johnson Community Health Care Scholars Program provides funding to select doctoral students interested in increasing the sustainability of community health care and improving the quality of care for underserved populations.
Global Health Scholars
Offered by the Johns Hopkins Center for Global Health, the Global Health Scholarship Program awards full-tuition scholarships to Master of Public Health or Master of Health Science students with extraordinary academic achievements and potential to contribute to the field of global health.
