Research Interests or Career Goals
My past clinical experiences with individuals with schizophrenia have inspired me to further research this disorder. I am interested both in increasing the understanding of the etiology of the disorder, as well as investigating improved treatment interventions.
Why I Chose Hopkins
The uniqueness of the department, being the only dedicated mental health department in a school of public health in the world, immediately drew me to Hopkins. The faculty are of the highest caliber and are setting the tone for public health research. Here, I have great opportunities to collaborate with renown researchers in the field of severe mental illness.
