Open doorsYou might think summer is a slow time for graduate admissions, but that’s not the case for us! We’ve been busy re-vamping the application, drafting a new Prospectus, preparing for multiple orientations and. . . OPEN HOUSE!

Prospective students are cordially invited to attend :

Fall Open House
Monday, October 14, 2013
1 to 5 p.m.

Open House provides an opportunity for prospective master’s and doctoral students to learn more about our school in-person. Come see for yourself our beautiful facilities and engaging faculty!  Among other activities, attendees will tour our campus and mingle with department staff, faculty and current students.

The registration form is live and we encourage you to make use of it early. This event does fill up.

Hope to see you in October!

It’s a little crazy in our office this week.  We’re making signs, checking details and stuffing packets for next week’s Open House.

Are you coming?

If so, make sure you register and we’ll see you at noon on Monday!

If not, we certainly understand. Distance, work obligations, life events can all conspire to make an in-person visit impossible. That’s why we developed our series of online information sessions.

Sessions include:  “What is Public Health,” “Careers in Public Health,” and current student panels.  You may join a live session on the scheduled date or listen to a recorded past session.

This Friday, we'll be hosting a current student panel at noon. We’ll introduce you to three of our current students and then open the floor to you and your questions.

Instructions on how to join the session are on the website.

We hope you’ll join us!
