Johns Hopkins University is closed today for the federal holiday commemorating the birth of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King.

Many Americans, including some of us, honor Dr. King’s legacy with a Day of Service.

Happy New Year!

Like many, our staff has made a few resolutions for 2013. Here are just a few:

  • Go to the gym at least 3 times a week – FOR REAL!
  • Never make a new year’s resolution I can’t keep (which means I didn’t make one).
  • Don’t be so hard on myself.
  • Use kinder words.
  • Stop treating my cat like my boyfriend.  
  • Create more.
  • Stop taking 100 pictures of my dog every day…the flash may be doing damage to his eyes and not everything he does is the cutest thing in the world.
  • Have more patience with people.

Thanksgiving GreetingsAdmissions Services will be closed Thursday, November 22 and Friday, November 23 to allow staff to spend the U.S. Thanksgiving Holiday with their families.

We will return full of turkey to diligently process applications on Monday, November 26.
