My co-workers will happily tell you I’m a history geek.
So, you can imagine my excitement when the university announced a new project documenting the history of Johns Hopkins University.
The project is centered on a book being written by Stuart Leslie, a professor at the Johns Hopkins Krieger School of Arts and Sciences. It will cover all the divisions of our university: from engineering to public health, education to business.
If you’re even just a tiny bit geek, you should visit the project’s website, Hopkins Retrospective, to read about the project and see the gallery of historical photos.
My personal favorite is the athletic bus from 1885.
