December 1. Historically, our office is swamped with applications and materials the days immediately before and after this deadline.
So, as we stack the proverbial sandbags in preparation for this flood, we wanted to remind you of the following.
Need to call us?
Our number is: 410-955-3543 and our posted phone hours are Monday through Friday,
8 a.m. to noon (Eastern).
We often answer phones in the afternoon, but during the height of the application season we reserve this time for the concentrated processing of applications.
If you call us and we’re not able to answer, please leave a message. Someone from our office will return your call the next morning.
Want to know the status of your supporting documents?
Once your application is submitted and application fee paid, we will create your official application file, begin processing your supporting documents, and enter those documents in your online record.
You can log into your online application at any time and view the status of your materials.
Please note, our admissions staff works hard to process materials as quickly and accurately as possible, but we do ask for your patience. It may take up to two weeks to process your materials and post them to your online account.
One final note about your application status - we do our best to contact you if we have any problems or are missing components from your file, but in the end, it’s your responsibility to make sure we’ve received everything. We can’t encourage you enough to regularly log in and check your application.
What happens now?
We wrote a series of posts about our application process a few months ago. One post detailed what happens when you hit submit. Another talked about the admissions review. If you’d like to know more about our process, those posts are for you.
Once your application is deemed complete and sent for review, there isn’t much more to do.
