The Occupational and Environmental Medicine Training Program is a two-year program designed to prepare physicians for leadership roles in the specialty of occupational and environmental medicine.

Graduates of the program strive to prevent and manage injury, illness and disability, and promote the health and productivity of workers, their families and communities. This includes individual patient care as well as population health management.

Established in 1978, the Bloomberg School's Occupational and Environmental Medicine Training Program culminates in a Master of Public Health degree with practicum rotations at key training sites throughout the Mid-Atlantic region.

To date, more than 140 physicians have completed the program and have advanced to leadership positions in a wide array of occupational and environmental settings in the United States and around the world.
