The "Short-Term Research Training for Underrepresented Students" program is based in the Department of Environmental Health Sciences. The central goal of this program is to provide opportunities for qualified undergraduate underrepresented students to participate in research in the area of the adverse effects of environmental agents on human health. Secondary goals include: 1) increasing awareness in these students of the opportunities for training and careers in the field of toxicology.
