Funded Pre- and Postdoctoral Training Programs

A doctoral education and conducting research are inseparably linked. Based on this philosophy, monies from sources such as the National Institutes of Health and Fogarty International Center are given to the University to support groups of faculty that have developed training programs in specific research areas. This money is used for tuition and stipend support for predoctoral students and postdoctoral fellows. The School currently has numerous funded training opportunities. The number of positions listed for each training program represents the number of positions each training program supports, but does not imply those positions are currently vacant. The selection and appointment of trainees is managed by the individual training programs.
