Next Steps To Learn More...

  • OPENCOURSEWARE (OCW) project provides access to the content of the School's most popular courses. We know that only a small portion of interested health professionals from around the globe have the opportunity to come here. OCW provides an opportunity for you to gain unique insights into public health as a profession at no cost to you.
  • Introduction to Online Learning is a free, non-credit mini-course:
    • A prerequisite for all online courses offered by the Bloomberg School of Public Health.
    • Takes between one and six hours to complete, depending on your skills working online.
    • All coursework is online.
    • You must complete this course before enrolling in any online course. Register here
  • Take a course as a non-degree seeking student - Prospective students have an opportunity to take up to 16 units of coursework that can later be applied toward the MPH degree program. Students interested in applying to the program are strongly encouraged to contact the MPH Program Office and begin the application process prior to reaching the16-unit limit.
  • Certificates - Non-degree seeking students may want to consider completing a Certificate Program at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. If you are later admitted into the MPH Program and pursue a certificate, the credits earned toward a certificate may also be applied to your MPH degree.
  • Visit us - We encourage you to visit us, communicate with faculty and students, and explore our academic community. Campus tours are scheduled regularly. To join us for a tour, please complete the tour request form. We recommend that you contact the MPH Program Office prior to visiting the campus, so that you can maximize your time here.
