Link to Powerpoint Presentation A military emergency physician, Yih Yng was the the Head of the military Preventive Medicine Branch of Singapore Armed Forces from 2003-2007. He planned the public health operations in the South Asian Tsunami disaster relief, conducted hundreds of outbreak investigations ranging from dengue to leptospirosis, had a near brush with SARS at work and played a pivotal role in translating the lessons learned from SARS into pandemic flu preparations during the avian influenza epidemic.
