HOW DOES THE DrPH DIFFER FROM THE PhD DEGREE?

Can I do the DrPH program by distance learning?

At this time the DrPH program is not offered in a distance learning format. 

Is the GRE test required for admission into the DrPH program?

Yes, the GRE test is required for admission into the DrPH program. However, it is up to the discression of the academic department to review an application without the test scores.

Is the TOEFL required?

Applicants from countries where English is not the primary, official language must submit official TOEFL scores. A minimum TOEFL score of 250 on the computer-based test OR 600 on the paper-bsed test OR 100 on the Internet-based test is required for admission. Applicants who have completed an accredited degree program within the United States are exempt from the TOEFL requirement. Please refer to the application requirements for the information specific to your program. At this time, The Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health does not accept scores for the IELTS in place of the TOEFL.
