Master of Arts and Master of Science in Public Health (MA/MSPH)

The Bloomberg School’s combination of the Master of Arts (MA) and the Master of Science in Public Health (MSPH) prepares students for careers that require health expertise plus an understanding of international and political issues.

Many graduates of the MA/MSPH combined degree program go on to manage health services and health systems in a variety of settings around the world.

Specifically, the program combines the Master of Arts in International Relations at the Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) and the Master of Science in Public Health from the Department of International Health at the Bloomberg School.

Both two-year programs can be completed in a total of three years, mainly through the replacement of a period of MSPH field practice with course work at SAIS.

For more information, contact the Department of International Health or you can contact the Admissions Office.
