Diversity, Civility & the Concealed Mind
In November of 2010, the Committee on Equity, Diversity and Civility explored unconscious assumptions about diversity.
Howard Ross, founder and chief learning officer of Cook Ross Inc., delivered the keynote address which captivated the audience and generated many meaningful discussions. His talk centered on the assumptions we make—often unknowingly—about diversity, civility and cultural competency in the workplace.
"Howard Ross is top-flight," said Robert Wm. Blum, MD, PhD, MPH, chair of the Department of Population, Family and Reproductive Health.
