Winter Institute 2009 participants may register for academic credit or audit. A non-credit option is not available for the winter institute. Please refer to the course descriptions for the credit value of each course. Courses taken for audit may not be retroactively converted to academic credit after the conclusion of the Institute. Students registered as special students limited may accumulate a maximum of 16 credits. After 16 credits have been earned, application to and acceptance in special student regular or degree status is required. Tuition for the Winter Institute 2009 is $770 per credit for academic credit or audit.
The deadline for application is Friday, December 12, 2008. All applicants who register after this date will be charged a $100 late registration fee. Students may drop or add a course during the first day. After the first day there will be no refund of tuition, nor will it be possible to add a course more than one day after the start date. Special students must pay in full at the time of registration. Statements for Winter Institute tuition for newly admitted MPH and continuing students will be posted electronically at https://isis.jhu.edu on January 15, 2009. Payment for Winter Institute courses will be due on January 23, 2009. Financial assistance is not available for the 2009 Winter Institute.
