| The CHAT Project is a behavior-change intervention funded by the National Institute of Mental Health and designed to train women to be peer mentors. The program teaches the women communication skills that will allow them to talk about HIV/STDs and safer sex with people in their community, including friends, family and sex partners. The Lighthouse Studies at Peer Point, a member of the Johns Hopkins family, supports an atmosphere free of discrimination on the basis of gender, marital status, pregnancy, race, ethnicity, national origin, age, disability, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, veteran status, or legally protected characteristic. |
