Exam Locations

Former workers will be offered the choice to have their medical examination and testing performed at these sites:

New Mexico

Española Medical Arts Building
1010 Spruce Street, Suite B
Española, NM 87532
Toll-Free Telephone: (877) 500-8615

If you choose this location, occupational medicine doctors from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and the University of New Mexico will perform the medical exams and tests.

Other Options

If a former worker does not live near the Espanola Program Office and would like to participate in the LANL Former Workers Medical Exam Program, the former worker will be referred to the National Supplemental Screening Program (NSSP).

Through the NSSP, a former worker will have the following choices:

1) the NSSP will arrange an examination at a participating clinic closest to the former worker’s current address; or

2) the NSSP will arrange an examination for the former worker through his or her personal physician.

See "Program and Examination Information Phase III" for more information about the NSSP.

In the past, medical examinations and testing were performed at the Los Alamos National Laboratory Occupational Medicine Clinic. We hope to offer medical exams at this location in the future.
