Electives in Preventive Medicine

Preventive Medicine Elective for Medical Students

Medical students enrolled in LCME-accredited medical schools in the U.S., Puerto Rico and Canada may apply for a one-month elective rotation in preventive medicine. Applications are handled through the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine registrar’s office. The rotation is formally precepted by Dr. Miriam Alexander and supervised by our chief resident. For information on applying for a medical student elective, go to www.hopkinsmedicine.org/som/Audience/visitors.html. To receive application forms, send your address or fax number by email to vismed@jhmi.eduClick here for a detailed description of the rotation for medical students.  For more information about the elective rotation, send an email along with your CV to gpmr@jshph.edu, or call our chief resident at 410-955-3903.

Preventive Medicine Elective for Residents
